Odi et Amo

Blog

A chronicle of my myriad of opinions on fashion, home decor, design, art, literature, movies and -- quite frankly -- whatever else moves me. It's a lot about things I love, some about things I hate, and even a little about things I love to hate.

Bio

I live in Houston, TX, with my husband (Dave), two cats (Subito and Clio) and a miniature dachshund named Olivia. As a practicing attorney, I don't get an opportunity to express my artistic and creative side at work very often. Searching for an outlet, I decided to start this blog and so far, it's been an amazing and fulfilling experience.

  1. I had to comment on your site! I've been avoiding putting my pix into albums, but I'm inspired now to get down to it pronto. Thanks for that little nudge! :)

  2. Odi et amo, quaere id faciam? Potasse requiris? Nescio, sed fieri sentio et EXCRUCIOR! That is Catullus from my memory 35 years later, so you'll have to forgive me if it's wrong. Nice site! A mini dachs, eh? I'm just about to accquire Kerridwen the Tekel Goddess (you can see her on the blog in last week's entry of the same name), who is a full size version. Yes, I know...good luck with that! Lucy at http://www.scribblecitycentral.blogspot.com

  4. i really love your sense of design & style: v coloful and creatively inspiring blog. My favorite images so far are the daschund decor and the owls...i really heart those owls! There's also Just the right amount of white space to balance the color on this stuff. Would like to frame some of it and hang ir on my wall. Anyway, I really look forward to seeing more moving things. (not things on wheels but things that move you emotionally i mean!) : ) best, Ashley
