Bio

Mio first started writing stories at age five, and has been hooked ever since! She is the Regional Adviser for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the author of four picture books, as well as a middle-grade novel and several educational readers. A former editor-in-chief for two daily English newspapers for children, she has also had various adult short stories and articles published. She is currently enjoying life in Hong Kong with her husband, her daughter and her son.

    I don't think this site attracts the typical...we seem to be an eccentric bunch...and that is makes for some great reading!
