A blog about Japanese woodblock prints, history and culture.
Bio
I am an artist and a writer and I live on the southwest coast of England with my husband and a family of eight female rats. I write both fiction and non-fiction, with the latter focusing primarily on Japanese art and the former being satirical or historical in nature. I am the author of "Utamaro Revealed" and "The Wonderful Demise of Benjamin Arnold Guppy," which was inspired by my own experiences with nightmare neighbours.

I love the Japanese culture and I love reading about. Black teeth!? I'n shocked...never heard of that before/
ReplyDeleteI have a bit of a fascination with dental habits, especially those of the 18th century Japanese. I've been trying to get a photo of some 18th century Japanese false teeth, but they seem to be a bit thin on the ground, lol.
