Bio
Except for one year when I lived in California, I have lived in New York State all of my life. I've lived in Brooklyn, Queens, upstate New York in Cortland, Vestal, and finally the city of Buffalo, where we lived for eight years. My husband and I have two grown daughters. Now I'm in Westchester, NY and have been here for the last fifteen years. I have over seventeen years of teaching experience and have certification in Reading. When I got my Masters I started to write seriously and have several stories published online. One is a children's story, and others are adult stories and a memoir. At present my first YA novel is out to a publisher and I am in the middle of a second one

ReplyDeleteBarbara - I love your blog and visit it often. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you jen. I'm going to visit your blog too.
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie I love your blog too!!! I loved all of your valentine jewelry and wish I could be there to pick it up. Besides chocolate, jewelry is my favorite.:) I was thinking of giving something away, but I can't decide which book. It might be a children's book. Wait and see.:)
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog. You write very well.
ReplyDeleteDear Barbara,
ReplyDeletecongrats on your YA novel. I love your post about Valentine. I can sense the strong relationship among your family and find it so charming. I also feel a click about other thoughts in this post. That's really great.
I wish you all the best and further success :)!
Awesome bag! I need one of those bags! Thank you for alerting me to the contest to win one! Also: thank you for reminding me of Guisel, and Dr Seuss Day. Dr. Seuss was (and still is) one of my favorite illustrating and writing/poeming childhood heroes. Great ideas and info, etc..and to Think I Saw "You're a Towel" on Barbara's (Amazing) Meanderings!!( I just may start using that towel phrase as a punch line in my personal life). ashley
ReplyDeleteYour blog is a lot like mine - like a bowl of potpourri. I especially appreciated the info on the Calphalon - b/c we recently hung a new pot rack and hubby promised me replacement pots and pans. We've been overwhelmed with which kind to buy! :)
